Disasi has been frozen out at Chelsea this season and has not made a senior appearance for the club during the 2025/2026 campaign.
The Frenchman spent the second half of the season on loan at Aston Villa but failed to secure a permanent transfer last summer despite being told he was not in the club’s plans.
The departure of Enzo Maresca and the arrival of Liam Rosenior offered Disasi a fresh start at Chelsea, with the latter discussing the prospect of the defender’s reintroduction into the squad.
However, he is now set to leave as West Ham look to strengthen their squad with a defensive addition before the deadline.
Fabrizio Romano reports that talks between the London clubs are at an ‘advanced stage’ and that Disasi will become West Ham’s fifth signing of the January transfer window, following deals for Taty Castellanos, Pablo Felipe, Adama Traore and Keiber Lamadrid.

West Ham are currently 18th in the Premier League and five points clear of safety. Their 45 goals conceded is the worst defensive record in the division.
