The brutal meswarrows of Cedric Mullins only worsen with Rough Reds series

Cincinnati – unlike Brett Baty, has not touched with Hunter Greene on Sunday and for good reason.

The Redsaas was so overwhelming.

But with regard to Cedric Mullins, another 0-from-2-with-a-strikeout day reminded the Mets that their primary midfielder has not held since the Trade Deadline.

The addition of the Orioles is 0-out-21 in its last eight games and hits .178 with a .568 Ops in 29 total games with the Mets.

“I think Fastballs is missing. Sometimes late. They pollute. They can’t start them,” said Carlos Mendoza manager about the battle of Mullins before the 3-2 loss. “Checks the battle zone, but I think he misses many good fields to hit.”

Mullins was partially acquired because of his bat, who caused special damage to the left while he was at Baltimore, and partly because of his glove, who ran almost a few gayers on Saturday just briefly.

He is not known for his arm, who was not strong enough to throw Noelvi Marte away on the home plate on Sunday, Mullins catches a sacrifice fly in a medium-high center and hit Cutoff-Man Jeff McNeil, whose relay throw was too late.

McNeil has filled in as a midfielder, but the Mets are hesitant to play the 33-year-old natural infielder in the outfield.

During a piece of 10 games in 10 days and 16 in 17, Mark Vientos was from the starting line -up while Juan Soto moved to the designated batter.

Vientos squeeze hit for Mullins in the eighth and grounded.

Mendoza hopes to use a wrestling Ryan Helsley in a less important pocket of the game.

The Fireballer, who has allowed at least a point in nine of his 14 games with the Mets and threw at an ERA of 11.45, believes that he has solved a problem with the Pitch-Tipping, but the results have not improved.

“I think it’s just the execution,” said Mendoza about Helsley’s fight. “Being able to raise the Fastball when it should, find the Fastball. … I know [pitching coach Jeremy Hefner] Works hard with him and we have to take him there. ‘

Reed Garrett, activated from the injured list on the first day that the right side was eligible, threw a scoreless seventh inning.

In his sixth rehabilitation start, Tylor Megill lasted only two plus innings in which he got five points on four hits and two walks with Triple-A Syracuse.

The Mets have said that they would discuss the next step for Megill, which was taken offside after this outing with an elbow amplification.

While Brandon Sproat and Garrett were added to the active selection, the Mets Righties wandered on Suero and Kevin Reget to Triple-A Syracuse.

To make a 40-man schedule for Sproat, Justin Garza was appointed for assignment.

With his ninth inning Thuis Run, Soto expanded its blow to nine games.

With his home run on the third inning, Baty has a sloping line of .323/.388/.516 with five homers, three Doubles, 20 runs, 10 RBIs and three steals about his last 28 games.
