After an exciting victory last night, the Nationals want to win the series in Citi Field this afternoon. The Mets are fighting for their playoff and today need a victory with the Reds, only a game behind them. In the meantime, the Nationals would like to spoil the playoff dreams of their rivals.
After having hunted his shoulder on a slide last night, CJ Abrams from the Line -up is available for the bank. Nasim Nunez will replace him at ShortStop. James Wood will continue to leave and Dylan censuses will go into the 2 hole. Paul Dejong plays second base with a Lefty on the hill. Jacob Young Will Man Centerfield and Jorge Alfaro will catch it. The wrestling Jake Irvin will be on the hill.
The Mets will make a few changes themselves. Mark Vientos is in the setup at DH. Luis Torrens will catch it this afternoon. Brandon Nimmo and Pete Alonso switching place in the line -up, where Alonso goes to the clean -up place. The top two of Lindor and Soto are unchanged. Sean Manaaea starts for the Mets.
