September is when Greater Boston comes to life, full of students who go to one of the many universities in the area.

After all, Boston is a large university city, thanks to schools such as Harvard University, Northeastern University, Boston University, Boston College and many more campuses.

But unlike most university cities, Boston is not the easiest city for young, students broke. The bars close relatively early for a city of its size, and a night out can easily end with a tab of $ 100.

Fortunately for students, the restaurants and bars that meet that demography are usually near the campus and for the right price.

Research (ie, looking at Reddit, Tiktok and Chat with our trainees), Boston.com put the student list together to use if you need a late-night burrito, need coffee study break and everything in between.

We broke the guide in the most important food groups: pizza, Tex-Mex, Asian, coffee and tea, pub food and bars. Do you want to see how close every place is for your school? Use our card below.
