The 2025 Master’U BNP Paribas Championships start on Friday in France

Reims, France – The 2025 Master’U BNP Paribas Championships, beginning this Friday in France, will once again bring together numerous top collegiate athletes for an eight-nation tournament featuring 34 current and former NCAA student-athletes.

Now in its 18th year, the Master’U BNP Paribas Championship is the world event of university tennis and consists of eight countries: Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Switzerland and the United States.

This year, all eight competing countries will feature players with NCAA ties competing with the United States leading all countries, with all six players being active student-athletes at NCAA institutions.

These players will all represent their countries in a unique format, which will see two women’s singles matches, two men’s singles matches, a women’s doubles match, a men’s doubles match and a mixed doubles match. The country that wins four of these seven matches will be declared the winner and will advance in the tournament.

More information about the competition can be found on the website Master’U BNP Paribas Championship website.
