Rayburn Electric CooperativeLocated in Rockwall, northeast of Dallas, a national supplier of electric bulk forces for four member cooperatives, is planning to grow. It is negotiating with a data center to become its first data center customer next year.
David Naylor, President and CEO of Rayburn, said that the addition is small compared to most data center loads. “Only 400 megawatts, but it’s a start,” he told me in an interview.
