Stablemates among six preliminary winners in 6F Sprint for 2YOS

Hallandal Beach, Fla. – Stablemates Fourth and central And Wine candyEach comes apart for almost a month, will take the next step in their development when they stand in line together for the $ 75,000 proud man on Saturday in Gulfstream Park.
The proud man for 2-year-olds and $ 75,000 Sharp Susan for 2-year-old mares, each of whom sprints six furlongs on the main job, are the co-headliners on an 11-race program that starts at 12:50 pm
Bred and owned by trainer Michael Yates’ Shadybrook Farms Inc., Vierde and Central has not been racet since a determined 4 ½ Furlong Debut victory on 31 May in Gulfstream, who a lead of 1 ½ length in the piece in the road and winner Camigol.
The chestnut gelding is from Cajun Breeze, whose descendants of degree 3 winner Dean are who produces winners and Breeze by, Zydeceaux, Cajun’s Magic, Cajun Firecracker, grade 2 placed sunny breeze and grade Cajun-Broer.
“His first race was that I think a little better than the time can suggest,” Yates said. “I thought it was a good race. He has been training ahead since the race. I am really happy with how he is doing.
“He certainly seems to be a bit above average,” he added. “He was a bit green in his first race, but he has always shown that he has some natural talent. He just keeps progressing a bit with his training. Hopefully he will pass every test.”
Pinnacle Racing Stable’s Wine Candy, by champion Vino Rosso and also bred in Florida, early Duelles before he was tiring to be the last of four in his revelation of 2 May. He extended to the five-year-old before his return on 29 June and responded with a romp of 4 ¼ length about fear, a popular next winner August 2.
“He’s a bit in the same boat,” Yates said. “His second race was clearly improved a lot. His first race was a bit of a shot. I think a lot of it was due to greeniness and he was not right. But he trained well afterwards, and he duplicated it in the afternoon. I also look for him to move forward.”
Both horses have shown similar running styles in their races and Marcos Meneses, who have driven in their last start, will be on the fourth and central from post 5 in a nine field with six last winners. Leonel Reyes is mentioned on wine candy from the outer post 9.
“I think they both probably look like they should stalk,” said Yates. “I am not crazy about that, but I think that the biggest reason why I decided to run both of them in was because it is more about their development at the moment. Although I would rather have individual places to enter them, the importance of their development kind of superedes at the moment. So we have to run both and see where the chips fall.”
Trainer Patrick Biancone also entered a few Squire And Seventeen. Co-ownership of Biancone and Amy Dunne, Squire graduated with a headfirst-time-out 4 ½ Furlongs April 18 and then moved to the turf for the Five Furlong Royal Palm Juvenile 10 May where he was in second place with 1 ½ length to Sandal’s song. Sandal’s song became third in the Norfolk Stakes (G3) at Royal Ascot.
Squire is a son of Leinster, whose three Graded-Stakes victories the 2021 Gulfstream Park Turf Sprint (G3) include in what turned out to be his career final.
“He is doing well,” said Biancone. “We gave him a break after the race in May. We sent him back to the farm, we prevented him, and we just gave him time because he had nothing to run in. We focus on the series for the Florida-Breds, but we can run him. We don’t know for sure because he is not 100 percent fit for the sixde race.”
The $ 1.2 million Florida Sire Stakes Series for 2-year-olds Sirds Sird by nominated Forida stallions starts on 6 September with the $ 100,000 Dr. Fager and $ 100,000 Desert Vixen, the last for mares.
Green with MV Stable’s Diciassette, a son of champion Sprinter Mitole whose name ‘seventeen’ means in Italian, wheels back 21 days after his coming victory over the half length over fierce Florida-Breds who sprinted five Furlong’s on July 20 on Gulfstream.
“We expected that he would win the first time and he did. Now we will see the second time if he can climb the next step. He trains very well and we are very happy with him. We will see if he has enough talent to do that,” said Biancone. “The [last] Race came forward and so we pointed to it, hoping that he would do well and come back here for this race. We must see if he is able to go one step higher. It is the logical step. “
Diciassette Drew Post 2 with Jonathan Ocasio, who won his first career -in the pine of 2 August on August 2 in Gulfstream, while Luca Panici is mentioned on Square from post 3.
