The WTT Feeder Spokane II was completed this week in Spokane, Washington and one of the highlights for American fans was the three travels from Sally Moytland to the stage. Moyland won no event, but the 18 -year -old American star finished third in women’s singles, finished third in women’s doubles and finished second in mixed doubles. The finishes of Moyland were the highlight for Teamusa in Spokane, because they were the only three trips to the stage for every American.
In the men’s Singles event, Top Seeded Aditya Sareen fell in the Tour of 16 to Yuhi Sakai, and Spokane I winner Leo De Nodrest lost his round of 32 match against Irvin Bertrand. In the end, every semi -final was a matchup between a Japanese planter and a Korea player with the Korean players who developed. Park Ganghyon defeated Kazuhiro Yoshimura 3-1, Park Gyuhyon defeated Yuhi Saka 3-0, and in the final it was Gyuhyeon over Ganghyeon 3-2. Two Americans reached the round of 16 with Sid Naresh who fell to Kazuhiro Yoshimura and Xiangjing Zhang losing to park Ganghyeon.
Sally Moyland won three games in Singles for ladies before he lost 3-1 to finalist Saki Shibata. The other semi-final was between Kaho Akae and Hitomi Sato and the final winner was Kaho Akae with a 3-2 victory over Shibata.
Six Korean teams arrived in the men’s doubles and two of those teams reached the final. The title for men’s dubbles went to the best placed team of the event, Park Gyuhyeon and Woo Hyeonggyu. Sally Moyland and Amy Wang made a deep run in women’s doubles, but fell on the best placed team and eventually winners Hitomi Sato and Saki Shibata. Moyland works together with Jishan Liang in mixed Doubles and they reached the final, lost a tough 3-2 game to Koreans Kim Woojin and Yang Han Eun.
