1. #4 Dazzle d’Oro (5-2) – Suppose a strong pace in his debut and still had enough left to pull away and can be a better value than destruction
2. #6 Obliteration (7-5) – A dominant winner of two consecutive, including the degree III Sanford the last time, but can be pressed here at a faster pace
3. #1 Ewing (8-5) – gets Irad Ortiz and won with no fewer than twelve lengths in his debut, but can do the management in this in this in this not control
4. #2 Comport (8-1) – a light step under the top three contenders, but can take advantage if the pace is warming up and he drops the leaders with a chance to close
Race 8 – Grade I Fourstardave Handicap
1. #3 Johannes (5-2) – Lost the Breeders’ Cup Mile in the fall and otherwise has been dominant at this distance and should be the one to beat
2. #4 Think big (6-1) – Godolphin Runner has been strong on Graszel in six attempts and showed that he could handle this distance last time with a chance to do this again
3. #8 Determinist (9-2) – is perhaps not the most suitable for this distance, but has run too well to be ignored and could have the early lead
4. #6 Intellect (5-1) – gets a slight lead over Cugino and Spirit of St. Louis, but should run a career to be a winner against a tough group
Race 9 – Grade I Saratoga Derby Invitational Stakes
1. #9 World Beater (10-1) – Made a late run on test score in the Torrid Belmont derby last time and should have good grooming opportunities plus getting a little more distance here
2. #5 Test score (7-2) – If he can repeat his sizzling version of the Belmont Derby, this three -year -old foal may be in the circle of the winner again
3. #7 Hotazhell (7-5) – Ships from abroad and is the only mountain for ordinary rider Shane Foley with some strong performance on the pond on turf
4. #6 New century (5-1) – should go back to his late running ways after he was a bit too close to the pace the last time and will close here with the last gamble here
