Slow fashion galan 2025 | November 11, 2025

Last Saturday the Slow fashion gala took place at the Clarion hotel in Södermalm. The gala is organized for the second year in a row by the icons behind Slow fashion hub Stina, Therese & Mikaela and celebrates sustainable fashion, recycling and creative craftsmanship and of course a meeting place for everyone who loves vintage, second-hand and sustainable fashion. During the day it was open to everyone and you could get inspiration and shop from various exhibitors and during the afternoon and evening there was also a panel discussion with Emily aka Modemassakern, Borås Science Park, Nature Conservation Society and Alice Bah Kunke. Fashion shows, live music, awards ceremony and of course time for lots of fun. I laughed so much and was so impressed that I was hoarse the next day.

This year I had the honor of being on the jury and presenting the prizes together with Erika, Ebba, Erik and Johanna for this year’s Slow fashion store, this year’s Re-designer and this year’s Slow fashionista/o. Extremely fun and honorable of course and not an easy task, because all the nominees really do fantastic work and inspire.

I had a wardrobe panic before the gala, which I rarely suffer from as I have built up a stable vintage wardrobe over the past few years haha. But add in the fact that I was pregnant and didn’t use a lot of the wardrobe, and have basically been using my own wardrobe as a capsule wardrobe ever since. What I tried didn’t feel right at all and I wanted to dress up, preferably in black and white, and sneak into Napoli Centrale last Friday.
