No replacement player is added to the team, with Kl Rahul and Mohammed Siraj already becoming a member of the set -up for the second game. The experienced duo was not part of the first competition.
Iyer is contrary to find a place in the Middle Order of India during the approaching at all with two games against the West Indies, starting on 2 October at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
“Yes, Shreyas takes a break and has returned to Mumbai. He has informed the selectors that he is unable to play in the second four-day game against Australia A. In the first meeting between India A and Australia A, Iyer was only rejected for eight of 13 balls. He was LBW to Corey Rocchiccioli. Devdutt Padikkal and Dhruv Jurget struck for centuries in the collision as India A stated their first innings on 531/7. In the first innings, Australia A posted 532/6. The tourists ended up 56/0 before the game ended in a draw.
