Pune, December 20, 2025: CREDAI Pune reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to labor welfare and people-centric development by successfully organizing the Pride Best Facility Awards 2025 at Hotel Hyatt, Pune on December 16. The nominations covered skill development, welfare of women workers, safety in labor camps, health and hygiene, crèche facilities, maximum BOCW registration, silver and gold awards, R. Vasudevan Award for Innovation and a newly introduced category for promising debutants.

The Best Facilities Awards do more than just recognize winners: they drive meaningful change in the construction industry. Speaking about the event, Mr. Manish Jain, President, CREDAI Pune said, “We are pleased to congratulate our developers in the industry who are showcasing the best standards in labor welfare. When workers can sleep well, live in hygienic conditions, have access to good medical facilities and have a crèche for their children, they are healthier, more motivated and work more efficiently. Builders directly benefit through higher productivity, better quality of work and improved workforce stability. The aim of facility pricing is to create healthy Most importantly, this process ensures that each developer improves year after year, steadily raising industry standards. Also, the new labor laws mark a progressive step toward strengthening the backbone of the economy: the workforce.

Arvind Jain, Vice President, CREDAI Pune, said, “This is the fourth year of the awards ceremony. Post-Covid, we started this regiment when we saw many workers leaving the city and we realized that something was missing on our side. When we realized that the labor facilities were not adequate, we designed a programmer to attract, train and inspire developers to recognize the importance of strengthening our workforce. Today, 105 developers participated in the event and this indicates the growth of the program. Today, workers have the choice to go to any city, but these small steps keep them tied to our city in Pune When they feel valued, their quality of work also improves when they work on projects and continuous improvement is always the solution for all things.
Vinoy Kumar Choubey IPS, Hon’ble Police Commissioner, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, commended the proactive efforts of CREDAI Pune in promoting labor welfare and said, “CREDAI is doing a fantastic job by organizing these facility awards. This will go a long way in ensuring that conditions in the labor camps remain good and that the welfare of the workers who beautify our cities is assured. I have never seen such good facilities even in Mumbai or other parts of the world Maharashtra, where I worked, and to the organizers behind this: what you started has continued and gained momentum, and that also shows the strength of your organization’s commitment.”

Sharing insights on best practices and regulatory excellence in labor welfare, Shri Shailendra Pol, former Additional Commissioner, Labor Department, said, “I am truly proud of CREDAI Pune. I have consistently spoken about the exemplary work being done here, and developers in Pune are providing better facilities than the whole of Maharashtra. I have been involved in these Facility Awards for the past few years and I can confidently say that the job of the judges is becoming more challenging every year as the standards continue to rise. My sincerity An appeal to all associations in Maharashtra to follow CREDAI Pune’s example and replicate its best practices across the state. Today, labor laws are moving from a focus on wages alone to a stronger emphasis on safety, dignity and social security. Through my experience of joining the association, I want to assure all developers that the Department is here to support you
Commenting on the event, Shri JP Shroff, Vice President and Chairman, Facilities Award said, “We have been striving since the beginning of Covid 19 to ensure the well-being of our customers. When we saw the conditions in which our workers were living, we felt the need to intervene and ensure their well-being and do something for the people who do so much for us. Let us show gratitude and dedication to them through awards for the best facilities. It was a very fair way of judging these awards, some developers have things done that go beyond that. The expectations come from the fact that there is desire and participation indicates encouragement for more such events.”

Addressing the event, Shri Milind Talathi, Chairman, Labor Welfare Committee, said, “This time we wanted to do something new at the awards. We discussed this internally in our committee and introduced the debut award this year. Anyone who is participating for the first time is eligible for this award. We have some parameters for these awards: there should be transparency, a systematic approach, robust evaluation, proper filling of registration forms, on-site visits. Some of them are very good and just missed half a mark or a single mark. These time, great importance was placed on the hygiene of the labor camps, with well-trained workers, medical facilities and much more. I see the joy on their faces and the confidence, and the journey continues with empathy and dedication.”
