NYC’s best deals: Barbara Corcoran buys a penthouse on Fifth Ave. for $16 million

There were 227 transactions recorded in New York City in the last 24 hours before 4:00 PM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, totaling $393 million.

๐Ÿ† Residential: A Billionaires’ Row sponsorship unit marked the highest home sales in the city. Darcy5066 LLC Dropped $46.7 million on an apartment in Extell Development Company’s 50 West 66th Street at Lincoln Square. The five-bedroom unit spans 6,942 square feet and costs more than $6,700 per square foot.

๐Ÿ† Commercial: The most expensive commercial real estate transaction recorded in the city involved a development site, which currently houses a one-storey building, on 28-12 41st Avenue in Long Island City. The prize was $7.1 million. The seller, a subsidiary of iCross Capital by Lily Guopurchased the site in 2021 for $6.2 million. The new owner of the property has an LLC attached to it Aditya Ajaykumar Shah And Shah’s Palwinder.

๐Ÿ“Š Residential: Barbara Corcoranfounder of the Corcoran Group and a โ€œShark Tankโ€ investor, bought up a penthouse 1016 Fifth Avenue for $16 million, the co-op’s asking price. The seller was a trust. The pad has three bedrooms, a library and a terrace. Carrie Chiang where Corcoran represented the buyer, and Serena Boardman with Sotheby’s International Realty representing the seller. Corcoran recently sold another Upper East Side penthouse for $13.5 million.

๐Ÿ“Š Residence: Bruce Hartinga financial director, and Carole Divet Harting create a cooperative Parklaan 1185 on Carnegie Hill. The buyer was the Pevaroff Cohn 2006 Family Trustof Lisa Pevaroffwife of Gary Cohn, as trustee. Gary Cohn is an investor and former director of the US National Economic Council. The trust paid $6.6 million for the 3,400-square-foot unit, which the Hartings purchased in 2013 for $5.9 million. The latest transaction appears to have taken place off-market.

๐Ÿ“Š Residential: A trust linked to an art advisor Paola Saracino Fendi bought a co-op at 14 East 75th Street on the Upper East Side of Jonathan and Marjalena for $6.5 million, the asking price. The three-bedroom unit has a semi-private elevator, three and a half bathrooms, and views of Central Park. The sellers put it up for sale in June. Sloane Square Amy Tucker Meltzer had the mention.

๐Ÿ“Š Residence: Eric and Kellee Joost โ€“ he is the CEO of insurance brokerage CAC Group and she is an angel investor and communications manager โ€“ where she has an apartment 256 West 10th Street for $4.6 million, the asking price for the device. The buyer was Chase Lerner. The Joosts paid $3.5 million in 2014 for the West Village pad, which has one bedroom, one and a half bathrooms and a balcony. Compass’ Clayton Orrigo And Stephen Ferrara had the mention.
