In another nail biter at Liv this week, Sebastian Munoz Jon Rahm defeated in a play-off to take Liv Indianapolis. However, it was not all bad for Rahm, but after a burning 60 in the final round, he caught up with the 5-way winner Joaquin Niemann to earn his 2nd straight Liv individual crown and the price of 18 million dollars.
Munoz was on a stove of the opening shot on Friday with a 59 in RD1 that even included a double bogey, which made it all the more fascinating. Munoz used his new Ping I240 ikers to lead the field in Gir with 85% and he also hit 81% of Fairways with his Ping G440 Max driver.
Sebastian Munoz is statistically one of the top players this year and was in the top 10 in four of the seven main categories (Birdies, GIR, Putting and Fairways) and ended in the top 10 in seven of the 13 events at LIV in 2025.
One of the interesting things in his setup is his Ping G425 max 7-wood that is actually 5-wood loft. Some players prefer this setup to others, because the corner of the sight is a little more open at the address, so that a right -wing starting line and less right -wing left curve encourage.
Keep reading below for the rest of his setup.

Ping G440 Max Custom Driver
The G440 Driver Family (Max, LST, SFT) has been optimized to deliver more ball rate through multiple claims, including Ping’s deepest CG in a driver so far and a shallower, thinner face, while it continues to ensure the game-changing forgiveness of a ping driver. The G440 Max is the most forgiving model and fits most golfers; Available in 9 °, 10.5 ° and 12 ° lofts with an adjustable rear weight with three positions. Very forgiving lighter main weight ensures a heavier rear weight. Faster face shallow, thinner, face increases the bullet speed for more distance, higher launch. Sound design new shapes, carbon crown and internal ribs produce muted impact experience. The design of free state saves weight to lower CG, to increase forgiveness. Ensures more HAK-SIDE FACTION for consistent bullet speed over the face.

Ping i240 adapted irons
The I240 inspired by Tour promotes our popular player technology and offers extra forgiveness together with control, appearance and feeling that a wide range of skills levels will appeal to. It is Ping’s highly launching players model, giving golfers more control and the possibility of consistently touching their distance numbers and to stop the ball close to the hole. A new ABS badge in the real cavity-back design is 8.5 g lighter, and combined with an elastomer insert ensures more perimeter weight to increase the moi in the middle and long irons. This helps to achieve a reduction in dispersion by 11%. The badge and insert contribute to a more desirable sound and a softer, responsive feeling of the 431 stainless steel casting head.
