Saori Oshima again beats Moaa in Deep: “127 Impact” Rematch

Deep and deep jewelry microight champion Saori “Little Giant” Oshima stopped a two-level losing skid with an important victory tonight at Deep: “127 Impact” in Tokyo, Japan. Oshima defeated Moeri “Black Diamond” Suda for the second time in a rematch to possibly earn a title shot of atomic weight.

Despite her recent struggles, Oshima was able to control the majority of gripping fairs with rising star Suda, who entered the game on a four-fighter-winning series. Oshima may now be the next to challenge Seika Izawa, who was on comment, for Izawa’s Deep Jewels or Rizin FF title.

Oshima (15-6-0) caught a staircase and took Suda (14-7-0) seconds in the fight. She attacked a kimura attempt and Suda went against by catching Oshima’s head in a teepee with her legs. Oshima left her kimura and then switched Suda to an inverted triangle stick from the bottom. A scramble followed and Suda crashed Oshima in a knee bar, but Oshima remained calm and freed her leg before locking on a top-side guillotine choke. Suda escaped and Oshima struck with forearms from Suda’s half -guard.

The second round started with Oshima who still catches a kick, but this time Suda balanced on one leg and went against a series of correct hands. Oshima took her down on her second attempt and worked from Suda’s half -guard until Suda tried to set up a heel hook and then another button bar. While Suda adopted her grip and continued to hurmen, Oshima wriggled for free and tried to take her back. Suda shook her way and she withdrew to Oshima’s right arm with an Armbar attempt. Suda landed short elbows from the North-South position during the last 30 seconds.

Suda landed a right hand and a knee in the final round, but Oshima stumbled her and worked again from Suda’s half -guard. She passed to side control and prevented Suda from the soil exploding. Suda returned to the entire guard and Oshima landed Hammerfists. Suda started from the cage and finally got up, but an attempt by the Body-Lock Takedown failed and she came to the bottom. Oshima took over Suda’s back and sank in both hooks with 40 seconds. Suda escaped the back and she moved to a short attempt at Armbar before time passed.

All three judges scored the competitive fight 29-28 in favor of Oshima for a unanimous decision win. It was the first victory of Oshima since uniting the deep and deep jewelry Microights in May 2024, and her recent change in the gym seems to have paid dividends.

“This victory was hard to achieve,” said Oshima after the fight in the cage. “I did not do a usual mum tasks and instead trained every day for this fight, but I regret that it was going to a decision. Seika [Izawa] commented for this fight. I will improve and I will ask she please accept my challenge. ‘
