Mikel Arteta makes eight changes from the midweek draw with Brentford for the fourth round at the Emirates. Saliba returns as a centre-back after missing that league match due to illness. The France international will form the central defense for the Gunners alongside Cristhian Mosquera.
Kepa Arrizabalaga, who started the previous round against Portsmouth, remains in goal this season as Arsenal’s ‘cup competition’ goalkeeper. Gabriel Martinelli, who scored a hat-trick in the aforementioned win at Fratton Park, is involved again.
There is also a start for Myles Lewis-Skelly in midfield. The 19-year-old has struggled in football this season, making just one start in the Premier League.
However, the teenager will return to the team, where he will feature in the engine room alongside Christian Norgaard and Eberchi Eze. There is no Martin Odegaard in the squad after the Arsenal captain suffered a knee problem against Brentford.
