Salah omits Jay-Jay Okocha from the list of the largest players in Africa | Sport

Mohamed Salah has called his best African football legends.

Africa has produced many football stars over the years, including George Weah, Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto’o and Okocha. Salah itself is also seen as one of the best, thanks to his great versions for Liverpool and Egypt. Since he came to Liverpool in 2017, he has scored more than 200 goals and the team helped to win big trophies.

Salah calls his favorites – Okocha not included

In a recent interview during a balloon d’Or Video, Salah was asked who he thinks is the greatest African football player of all time. He smiled and said, “Me! Yes … there are so many”, before he called George Weah, Didier Drogba and Samuel Eto’o.

Although Salah praised those legends, he called Jay-Jay Okocha not a name that many fans expected to hear. Okocha is famous for its skills, creativity and fun playing style. He played 73 games for Nigeria and played in world cups, leaving a lasting impression on football fans worldwide.

Okocha’s inheritance still strong

Although Salah left him away, Jay-Jay Okocha is still considered one of the greatest players in Africa. Fans remember him for his tricks, flair and the ability to make football exciting.
