Chasing a revised DLS target of 234 in 20 overs, Pakistan Women never found rhythm. Early breakthroughs from Marizanne Kapp dismantled their top order. Kapp’s fiery spell of 3/20 reduced Pakistan to 35/4 within 10 overs, leaving them with no chance of recovery.
Rain breaks further broke the momentum, and Pakistan could only reach 83/7 and were handed a crushing defeat. This loss officially eliminated them from the semi-finals.

Marizanne Kapp was the star of the day with a brilliant all-round performance. Her 68 off 43 balls set up South Africa’s total, and with the ball she produced a decisive spell, dismissing three key batters early. Her contribution earned her the Player of the Match award.
