After our internal view of the best round 1 players to own in the fantasy of Roshn Saudi League (RSL), it’s time to complete our reconnaissance choices.
With the favorites of Chris, Amer, Louis and Marc in mind, we have devised a final team that adheres to the following rules:
- A budget of 83.0 m for the starting XI
- A general team limit of 100.0 m
- No more than three players per team

RSL Fantasy Scout Picks: Round 1
With the exploration team including a lot of From expensive options (thanks, boys!) The Scout Picks team had to work super hard to get a final XI that fits the budget.
Goalkeeper
The first decision is to go a little more budget-oriented between the sticks, which select Al-Shababs Heorhii Buschcan (4.5 m). To be honest, he has a decent luminaire run and is on one of the top, so it is hardly a rogue selection.
Defenders
Continuing with the budget theme, our first defensive choice is Jehad Thakri (4.5 m). A cheap way in an Al Qadsiah defense that was the most meaning in the competition last season, which only gave 31 goals in 34 games.
If we have saved a budget on Buschan and Thankri, it is immediately blown up with our second defensive choice, Roger IbaƱez (6.0m) from Al Ahli. Ibanez is able to take the defensive rankings under the new points system (it is said to have had 224 points) and can attack returns (five goals and one assist in 2024/25) and clean sheets and is at the top of the top of the top for other defensive contributions (including subordination, Tackles and approvals – see defensive).

Wawaf Boushal (5.0 m) Offers a reasonable way in the Al Nassr defense. Well arranged in the membership area for defensive actions, he would have protected a considerable 171 points under the new rules last season and also offers an attacking intention, with nine targets (two goals and seven assists) to add the previous time-out to seven clean sheets.
Midfielders
Steven Bergwijn (9.5m) Is the first name on our team magazine. With 21 target involvement Last time-out (including one ‘Fantasy Assist’), plus a recent goal in the Super Cup-Halve Final, the Dutch International is a top option in a dangerous attack. As the Statsbomb data demonstrates, he is the second best for the non-Penaltic recordings of Al ITTIHAD and non-Penalty recordings on Doel and also has good for important passes and touches in the box.

The indisputable best value in midfield (if not the game as a whole) seems to be Ahlis Enzo Millot (6.0 m). Although this is his debut season in the SPL, the Frenchman was in great shape last season for VFB Stuttgart, where 12 goals and eight assists became Genet in multiple competitions, and he has already been given a goal and assists in two Saudi Super Cup trips!
Sergei Savic (10.0 m) Is our choice from Al-Hilal’s attacking line. A solid scorer in the past seasons, he would have delivered a huge 241 points under the current system, and a opening house match against Al-Riyad feels like a great opportunity to add to the 12 goals of last season and nine assists.
Al Fatehs Mourad Batna (7.5 m) Perhaps a differential choice, but perhaps he shouldn’t be. Scorer of 199 points last season (about this year’s rules), with 13 goals and six assists, he is on penalties and has a great first fixture against non -planted Al Fayeh.
Ahead
The big beast in the game and our forward line is the most famous name in the game. Cristiano Ronaldo (14m) Maybe a year older and a good 1.0 m more expensive than anyone in RSL -fantasia, but he feels pretty essential. The Al Nassr side, if not the whole SPL, was effectively built around him and we would be a rash to bet against CR7 when adding its 25 goals from last season and to deliver large points in the opening weekend, especially when they are linked to Al Taawoun.

In addition to him, we opt for a new name to the competition, but not UCL of Serie A Fantasy Managers, in the form of Al Qadsiah’s ex-Atalanta Forward Mateo Retegui (9.5 m): 28 goals and nine assists from 49 games in the Serie A and the Champions League are phenomenal figures and we think he can really explode in RSL.
We finally went with a third attacker, already Hilal’s Leonardo (7.0 m). Scorer of 17 goals and three assists last season, is now expected to be from the shadow of Aleksandar Mitrovic from Aleksandar Mitrovic (the former Fulham man is connected to a move), and a home game against Al Riyad offers a chance to make its own position.
The Captain
No disputes here, the bracelet is on Cristiano!
