The Australian rollers are tonight on the field in Cologne, Germany, to open their 2025 European campaign in the Rollstuhlbasketball Nations Cup -one of Europe’s most important wheelchair basket tournaments and an important test prior to the Asia -Ceania zone championships of November.
Walking from 13-17 August, the Nations Cup De Rollers will see some of the strongest line-ups of the continent, including Great Britain, the Netherlands, Poland and a European All-Star team. They then go to Varese, Italy, for a five-game series against the Italian national team of 19-22 August.
The Tour is a crucial step in the direction of the Asia Oceania Zone Championships in November – the qualification event for the IWBF World Cup 2026 and a great chance of shaping the path from the team to LA 2028.
