Very talented Pacer Rocket City (Huntsville) stamped himself as an above -average performer when he had eliminated the band 4 pace in Albion Park on Saturday evening.
Prior to last night, Rocket City had pursued at home at the attachment in Albion Park a week ago after racing outside the leader and had raced in Harder Company.
Rocket City was easily the best way and the driver Layne Dwyer settled in front of the field and started a relaxed pace.
Birkirkara has been resumed since his last start ninth in the rising sun more than two months ago and he was considered the only danger.
But he showed Little Dash early and driver Nathan Dawson did not get off the fence when the field started to pack. However, he was clearly near the last corner, but Rocket City traveled too well and he had enough in reserve to beat Birkirkara with more than ten meters with the well -racing Luvbite in third place. Rocket City scored his last two quarters in 26.8 and 26.4 seconds.
Rocket City September 20 Relocate
Birkirkara will be improved by that run and will certainly run a better race next time.

It was a difficult decision for director Layne Dwyer. Luvbite is his favorite horse, but when he got the chance to control Rocket City, he knew it was a great chance
Layne landed a pick -up drive earlier in the week where Hot and Treacherous broke the Start Track Record of 2138.
Rocket City is raced by Eddie Burchill and father/son team Doug and Ryan Spice. When they bought him from West -Australia, they were convinced that trainer Donny Smith would be the right fit.
Connections of Rocket City have received some strong interest from North America. Because the gelding is now effective in Queensland for all quality in Queensland, there is a bit to be weighed.
The winner completed a huge night for trainer Donny Smith, because it was his first training -Treble. Earlier he was successful with Watchmedazzle (he looked) and later he later led his smart mare La Derniere (Hurrikane Kingcole) entirely in the Mares event.
Likeo Layne Dwyer was more successful with completing a double when he sent Golden Fire (the Gold Ace) to a final sigh victory at a pace of Mares.
