After leaving Silver Falls after Alex ‘love confession and her kiss with Cole, Jackie Howard spent the summer in New York City. When Katherine convinces her to return to Colorado, Jackie is determined to make up for Alex and set boundaries with Cole while she finds her place in the Walter family. But falling back in is not that easy. Alex – who changed a lot in the summer – is not too happy with Jackie’s attempts to reconnect, because he focuses on training for a risky Rodeo event (and enjoys all the new attention he receives). In the meantime, Cole is taking on a new role at school, but when that does not completely fill the emptiness that is left behind by not playing football, his old ways crawl back and cause drama. While Jackie gets acceptance in Silver Falls while she tries to hold her Howard identity, she is forced to make a choice that can destroy everything she has worked on to rebuild.
