Republic Day 2026: Tri-services tableau to showcase the success of Operation Sindoor

The Indian Armed Forces will present a tri-services tableau titled ‘Operation Sindoor: Victory Through Jointness’ during the 77th Republic Day Parade on January 26 at Kartavya Path. The tableau will showcase India’s evolved military doctrine, highlighting precision warfare, seamless integration among the three services and growing indigenous defense capabilities.

Operation Sindoor, conceived in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat @ 2047, reflects India’s shift towards decisive, coordinated and self-reliant military power. The tableau provides a sequential and dynamic representation of the synergy of three services in modern warfare.

The opening segment shows the Indian Navy asserting maritime dominance and denying operational space to the adversary. This is followed by the Indian Army’s calibrated firepower, with ultra-light M777 howitzers attacking enemy targets. The Akash air defense system stands guard behind them, symbolizing India’s layered and integrated air defense shield.

INDIA is expanding unmanned warfare

The central strike narrative reflects the new normal in Indian national security doctrine, characterized by rapid response, controlled escalation and precise targeting. A loitering HAROP munition neutralizes an enemy air defense radar, demonstrating India’s growing capabilities in unmanned warfare. A Rafale fighter armed with SCALP missiles then carries out a surgical strike on the terror infrastructure, followed by an SU-30 MKI launching a BrahMos supersonic cruise missile to destroy hardened aircraft shelters.

The operation culminates in the S-400 air defense system executing the longest range of the mission at 350 kilometers, neutralizing an adversary’s airborne early warning platform and underscoring India’s ability to be the first to detect, decide and destroy.

TERROR AND BLOOD WILL NOT FLOW TOGETHER

Each phase of Operation Sindoor emphasizes the maturity of cross-domain connectivity, with unified intelligence, precise target selection and minimal collateral damage. The tableau conveys a clear national message that terror and blood will not flow together, and that those who sponsor or harbor terrorism will suffer swift and overwhelming consequences.
