With just 72 hours to go in the competition, the teams are trying to wring every last drop of wow from their homes.
Britt and Taz install an outdoor movie theater behind their shed, with seating around a fire pit and a retractable screen in a garden bed. On top of that, they also have the secret native artwork on their garage door, currently hidden by a portrait of themselves that has everyone, including Shelley Craft, shocked.
Han and Can have a giant four-meter torii gate above their driveway and a winding path through a Zen garden.
Sonny and Alicia use their leftover money for three half-grown trees and a life-size sculpture of a resting kangaroo.

How many Block stars have won and lost
The huge torii gate at Han and Can’s is put into place, ready to welcome the dinosaurs.
Ben and Emma created gentle mounds on either side of their driveway to reflect the rolling hills surrounding the property.
And Mat and Robby are broke and lucky and doing what they can while also trying to figure out how to finish $5,000 worth of plastering on the house.
But then again, it’s not Han and Can’s week.
They are fighting again and it is Han’s father Lee who comes to the rescue when Can breaks down because Han is giving her orders and yelling at her.
Lee hugs Can after another confrontation with Han.
“It’s nice to have Lee here. He knows Han very well and knows how crazy she is and how out of control she is,” Can says.
Then Scott and Shelley visit and seem unimpressed by their Japanese theme.
“Do you realize you’ve reduced your buyer pool by about 50 percent?” says Shelley.
And all this is before disaster strikes in their front yard.
Scott and Shelley have their doubts about Han and Can’s front yard.
Their Zen landscaper Christian has been a bit too Zen when it comes to reading the requirements for concrete works and has not had his concrete foundation inspected before the arrival of the concrete truck.
When Dan sees the concrete being wheelbarrowed around the side of the house, he stops work so the reo mesh can be properly inspected, and he’s not happy with what he finds.
“The question is what’s good about it,” he says when asked what’s wrong with it. “There’s nothing good about the way that reo was installed.”
With a maximum of 30 minutes before the concrete in the truck starts to go off, the race is on to take Christian’s work apart and replace it. Then site supervisors Aiden and Simmo discover that the height of the concrete path is too low.
“It’s a dog’s breakfast,” says Simmo.
Then Christian confronts laying concrete before the base is approved.
It’s all hands on deck to solve the problem while the unimpressed concrete truck driver stands idle outside.
“F**k me. Clowns!” Aiden says as he walks away in disgust.
Fortunately for everyone involved, a joint effort from everyone in the house pays off and the concrete is poured on time.
Then we move on to the installation of the huge tori gate. When the sun sets, it slides neatly into place, breaking tradition because it’s not a huge disaster.
Unless you listen to the neighbors’ opinions.
“I don’t understand,” says Taz.
“Are they crazy?” Sonja asks.
“It’s the entrance to Jurassic Park,” says Mat.
And we all know how that story ends.
