California proptech leader RealScout has released a trio of updates aimed at helping agents optimize their MLS search and navigate client follow-ups with greater ease and precision.

Two months after debuting its “biggest update ever,” California-based proptech leader RealScout is back with another major upgrade to its AI Search, Scout Score, and Contact Enrichment products.

RealScout co-founder and CEO Andrew Flachner said the updates aim to help agents stay top of mind with potential clients by closing gaps that typically lead to weak follow-up, such as ineffective listing searches, difficulties determining the best time to contact buyers or sellers, and incomplete contact information.

“Agents win on relationships, but consistent follow-up is difficult to implement at scale,” he said in a prepared statement Friday. “Winter Release 2026 is designed to simplify the basics: build the right query faster using artificial intelligence, find out who is heating up, and fill in the missing data that prevents wide reach.”

AI Search, now generally available following an early access release in December, takes customer wishlists and transforms them into an advanced alert specific to multiple lists. Agents can view, edit, and save the search criteria as an alert, template, or search link. The company said beta testing of the product helped agents save at least 10 minutes on MLS searches, giving them “more time for real conversations” with customers.

The next feature, Scout Score, assigns prospects an engagement score from 0-100 based on their RealScout activity. The score is updated nightly and after major actions, such as completing a survey about their immediate home buying or selling plans, or a notable increase in home search activity. Agents can use the score to determine which customers to follow up on first.

The series of updates concludes with Contact Enrichment, which allows you to fill in important contact information including name, phone number and address, as well as owner and tenant information and length of stay, where available.

“The big unlock: Once contact information is filled out, agents can reach people more consistently and create home value alerts and relevant market activity updates, providing homeowners with value that keeps prospects engaged and agents top of mind,” the announcement said.

RealScout Chief Marketing Officer Seth Price said the updates are not about “newness,” but about providing effective solutions that help agents cut through the noise and build relationships that strengthen their businesses.

“The next wave of AI is not about novelty, but about making follow-up easier, more personalized and more effective,” he said. “This release moves agents from search to signal: faster installation, clearer priorities and better data – so every touchpoint is more timely and relevant.”
