A new tool, available exclusively to Intel subscribers, makes it easier than ever to view Intel Index survey results, compare responses by region or broker type, and track historical trends over time.
The interactive dashboard is designed for use on both mobile screens and desktop browsers. For the best experience on the desktop, it is recommended that you do this view the dashboard in full screen by clicking the ‘expand’ symbol in the top right corner of the tool.
How it works
- Select “Agents” to see the Intel Index broker trail results, or switch to “Leaders‘ to view the responses of broker leaders instead.
- Select a month from the Calendar dropdown to view questions from that month’s survey. By default, the tool uses the most recently completed survey.
- Browse the selected month’s survey questions, broken down into ‘New questions” introduced in that month’s survey and “Recurring questions‘ that were asked in previous studies.
- View the single month Snapshot graph showing results for the selected month and question.
- Activate a “Compare‘ for each snapshot chart view by ‘By region,” “Through brokerage‘ or, for agents only, ‘By volume.” Agents who report that they have completed more than 10 trades in the past year are referred to as “High volume agents“, while the rest are marked as “Lower volume agents‘For comparison purposes only.
- For recurring questions only, you can track how the number of responses has changed over time with the Historical trends graphic. (The historical trend chart shows the total response share for each month, regardless of whether the comparison view is enabled in the snapshot chart above.)
This tool will be updated monthly going forward and will be the primary way Intel shares the raw results of its research with subscribers. In addition, Intel will continue to produce the same weekly analysis of its own surveys and other data relevant to industry decision makers.
Methodological notes: This month’s Inman Intel Index questionnaire ran from January 22 to February. 4, 2026, and received 643 responses. The entire Inman reader community was invited to participate, and a rotating, random selection of community members were asked to participate by email.. Users responded to a series of questions related to their self-described corner of the real estate industry – including real estate agents, brokerage leaders, lenders and proptech entrepreneurs. The results reflect the views of the involved Inman community, which do not always reflect those of the wider real estate industry. This questionnaire is carried out monthly.
