Ex-Aston Villa striker Hendrie has told Football League World: “Isaac Hayden, he is an experienced player, right? [With] Where he has been, he had a few clubs. Of course he had been an important part of Newcastle for some time, but he had stints around the type of championship level with Portsmouth and QPR.

‘But yes, I think [he’s] A real solid signature. I think that especially for QPR I think they are going inside, they have many young players there. They recently have one of the youngest starting XIs in the [EFL] Cup. But I think you have an experienced head in the dressing room, around the dressing room, when it starts, you know, I just think it’s really a good signature for QPR. “
