Lee Dixon talked about Newcastle United.
The former defender of Arsenal and England asked an important question.
Asked Lee Dixon; “How did Newcastle United treat the situation of Alexander Isak?”
The former player explains; “It’s an absolute disaster.”
Does he have a point, or is this another outsider without an idea of the real factors that play here?
Lee Dixon asked the question by 10bet; “How did Newcastle United treat the situation of Alexander Isak?”
“It’s an absolute disaster. I mean, their summer is broken. You know, their ins and outs do not actually exist. And from Eddie’s point of view, if there was no idea that this would come, then Isak will have to take a lot of responsibility for that.
If you are a player, you must have a kind of connection with the people around you. Not only with the players, but the fans and the staff, the back room team, everyone at the club. You have to say he has abandoned them.
I am not closely linked to Newcastle, but when I am working there, or when I was there as a player, there was always something special going on in that club. You can’t always put your finger on it, but you would go, “Oh God, I could play here.”
It is one of those places, and not all clubs have that. I think to throw it away like Isak does, there must be a better way to deal with yourself.
The reservation is that I don’t know that everything is happening behind the scenes. I know Eddie Howe a bit. We all seem to think that he is a nice guy, but there is more to him than just what you see. I look at and think there has been a huge breakdown from the point of view of Isak, but he did not treat this very well.
I always think the player has a responsibility for the club. Sometimes clubs can be ruthless when it comes to the future of a player, but if you are a top player, such as Isak, you have all the power. He thrown his toys away and said he won’t play. I think Eddie Howe deals with it, the only way he knows how and that is in his Eddie Howe Way. It’s just a mess. ‘
