Readers Comments on ‘Virtue Signaling’ on Coldplay Concert
Your piece about coldplay fans Booing When lead singer Chris Martin tried to send ‘Love’ to Charlie Kirk’s family after the right-wing political activist had been shot, had a wonderful online statement from someone who said they would have ‘run away’ if they had been in the Wembley show (Metro, Mon). That must certainly be the highlight of virtue signaling. Hilarious! Paul Wilkinson, London
Reader Slams Slams Labor Source that recently praised, has taken Senior Aide
Regarding No.10 Director of Strategy Paul Ovenden who stops about sexually explicit texts about ex-Labour MP Diane Abbott (Metro, TUE).
The article quoted one labor source that the senior assistant describes as ‘the best brain in the Labor Party’. If that is true, there is really no hope at all. Patricia Sorenti, Feltham
Is the State Visiting of the US President another example of the ‘poor judgment’ of Starmer?
Since Lord Peter Mandelson was fired as the American ambassador of Great -Britain about his relationship with pedophile sex trade Jeffrey Epstein, why do we have a state visit today by another big partner of Epstein? Very bad judgment.
The far right also stirred on Saturday to defend ‘women and girls’, among other things. Is that includes British women such as Diane Abbott? M Reader, London

Reader says that the extreme right -wing protests of the weekend are a ‘demonstration of Depair’
The Unite The Kingdom -Protest in London on Saturday was the desperate attempt by the population to draw attention to urgent problems that were exacerbated by government policy.
For a long time, British felt in the cold in their home country, with migrants of greater concern for work than those who have brought them to power.
Will Sir Keir Starmer and Co continue as they are, even after such an open demonstration of despair? Brian Dornan, Bangor
Reader flags the hypocrisy of the reform
It is interesting that Reform UK supports the Union Jack Flag Brigade, given that reforms guided by reforms have made a point to remove LGBT+ Pride flags from their buildings.
The message cannot be clearer – Reform thinks we should be proud to be British and we should definitely not be proud of anything else about ourselves. Caitlyn, Beeston

Less is more?
I form an organization called Chaos (campaign against hyperbool and excessive use of superlatives). I am moved to act because light interesting things are described as ‘amazing’, credible things like ‘incredible’. I saw a TV chef taking a bite from his own TreaCle Tart and describes it as ‘beyond perfect’. Can anyone surpass that? Laurence, Mitcham
Casual encounter
I met my wife in a nightclub. I thought she was at home to take care of the children. Jeff, Nuneaton
A fertile harvest
What a great harvest we have – let’s not waste fruit and vegetables. Do not throw that old fridge or freezer away for apples and potatoes, etc. They are dry, frost and rat resistant and stay at a constant temperature.
We have one in a shed. Of course not connected! Bramley Apples remains until the end of April.Janie, BrancePeth
