Hollywood, FL – Light Heavyweight Rasul Magomedov of Bahrain achieved a unanimous decision victory over Guilherme Viana At PFL Hollywood last Thursday, improved to 8-0 in the process.
It was a solution that was not easy, because Magomedov had to survive an early knockdown and had to work his way back in the fight. Yet a victory is a victory at the end of the day, although there are lessons to remove the implementation.
“I am very happy with the outcome. There are certain mistakes that I have to work on, I am going to come home and judge everything,” Magomedov told Media including Cagesside Press after the fight in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. “I won, that’s what it’s all about.”
Asked to give himself a number, Magomedov went with a B-.
His opponent, Magomedov admitted, was not the easiest to find out. “He was a bit uncomfortable, but after the first round I adjusted myself, and then I started to feel him.”
In the future, the 30-year-old hopes for another fight in 2025. “Of course. Give me a chance, I would like to have another fight this year. I am open to suggestions,” he said. A place in the PFL World Tournament is 2026 is also attractive.
“Yes, absolutely.”
