Raja Jackson, a professional mixed martial artist and son of former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, attacked a professional wrestler in the ring on Saturday evening.
The 25-year-old old Raja Jackson participated in a Knockx Professional Wrestling match that streamed on Kick when the incident took place.
Stuart Smith, known as ‘Syko Stu’, was lifted and closed before Jackson mounted and supplied several unanswered punches. Smith and Jackson had a backstage that almost became a fight and according to Rampage his son Raja should get his revenge in the ring.
“I want to clean up the wrong information about my son Raja,” said Rampage in a message on social media. “I was confirmed that the wrestler (Stewart Smith Aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly beaten in the side of the head by him moments before the Smith game, Raja was told that he could get his” payment “in the ring. I thought it was part of the show. It was bad judgment.
“Raja is an MMA hunter, not a professional wrestler and had no business at an event like this. I did not approve any actions from my son at all! He suffered a concussion by sparing just a few days ago and had no distance remotely in the vicinity of physical contact. If father will be deeply worried about his Mr. Smith.
