Glens Falls-Angel Mosquera Oregui took a deep breath and drilled the go-ahead goal on a penalty shovel with less than 10 minutes to go in Regulation Wednesday evening, which means Queensbury to a 3-2 Foothills Council Boys Soccer victory on Glens Falls Tilde.

It was the second goal of the night for Mosquera Oregui, an exchange student from Spain. His first goal opened the score to give Queensbury the early lead. Gavin Lethbridge also scored for the Spartans, who struck a ball from the distant pole and inside to give Queensbury a 2-1 lead in the second half.

The black bears fought back and tied the game twice, first when Ronan Westfall scored a cross of Deklin Malison. Than. Shamar Fuller scored on a penalty after Adam Avery was removed in the box.

Queensbury improved to 2-0 in the competition, 2-3-1 General. Glens Falls fell on 1-1, 3-3.
