NEW York and Toronto – The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) strengthens its business activities with new roles within the competition and two new recruitments within his teams.
The competition has added and appointed two new senior director, business activities functions Marie-Christine Boucherpreviously director, business activities for the Montréal Victoire, and There in Leighwho is an experienced sports veteran. In this role they will collaborate with the Business Directors team to form local strategies and to implement them in marketing, ticketing, community programs, communication and game experience.
Hockey Hall of Fame -member Kim St-Pierre will follow Boucher as director, business activities for the Victoire, while Joe Anderson Will take the same role with the Minnesota Frost after he had previously served as the Media & Community Relations Manager of the team.

BoucherWho has been working in both professional and amateur sports for more than 25 years, was crucial in the business success of Montréal during the first two seasons of the team. The Victoire set the World -Prescription Record for a hockey match for women in Montréal on April 20, 2024, when 21,105 fans attended a matchup between Toronto and Montréal in the Bell Center. Her career included stops at various legendary hockey organizations, including Hockey Canada and the Montreal Canadiens.
With more than two decades of experience in sports companies, Leigh Brings valuable expertise from her time to the NHL, NBA and technically driven ticket platforms. She held senior positions at FEVO, where she led partners success initiatives, and at the NHL Club Business & Analytics Department that support teams in the competition. She was also the director of ticket sales at the Brooklyn Nets of the NBA.
St-Pierre is not only a legend in women’s hockey, but also an accomplished professional whose expertise and passion will bring a new dimension to the Montréal Victoire. On the ice she wrote history as a triple Olympic gold medal winner and five -time world champion at the Canadian National Women’s Team. In 2020 she became the first female goalkeeper who was admitted to the Hockey Hall of Fame, an honor that emphasizes her immense contribution to the sport and her place under the greats of the game. St-Pierre agrees with the competition that he has served as the Quebec regional manager of the Canadian tires Jumpstart Charitions.
Anderson Joined the Minnesota Frost as a manager, communication and community relationships in December 2023 and played a key role in building the visibility of the team and strengthening the connections with fans, players and media during the first two seasons. His deep passion for women’s hockey, in combination with his extensive experience in sales, media and community involvement, will be valuable assets in his new role, where he will concentrate on expanding the presence of the prince in the Saint Paul – Minneapolis region.![]()
Boucher, Leigh, St-Pierre and Anderson will report Jayne BussmanVice President, Growth, Strategy & Team Operations. Bussman-Wijs will supervise the business activities of the team alongside Business Analytics, IT and PWHL Media House.
