Priyansh Arya, one of the most promising T20 prospects in India, has etched his name in Delhi Premier League history by becoming the first batter that scored three centuries in the short but competitive run of the tournament.

The stylish left-handed roared back in shape with a breathtaking beat of 111 on just 56 balls against East Delhi drivers.

Arya opened the innings for Outer Delhi Warriors and tore out the opposition Bowling and hit 9 Sixes and 7 four in a representation of controlled aggression.

His innings helped the Warriors after 231/7, an impressive total on paper, but one that would ultimately not be enough.

He shared a Quickfire 92-run partnership of 46 balls with Karan Garg, which also impressed a 24-ball 43. Arya brought up his hundred in the 17th before he was fired by Akhil Chaudary.

This ton was Arya’s third in the DPL, the previous two arrived during the 2024 season, where he was also the striking performer of the tournament.

Last year he gained 608 runs in 10 innings with a stunning average of 67.56, giving him an IPL contract with Punjab Kings. He also made an immediate impact there and scored 475 points in 17 innings with a striking success rate of 179.25.

Arya, however, had a quiet start in the 2025 DPL, with scores of 26, 16 and 8 in the first three games. But against East Delhi riders, he turned the script around with a match-defining knock, although it eventually came a losing business.

The riders in East Delhi deducted the largest successful chase of the DPL 2025 season. Anuj Rawwat played a blinder and hit 84 out of 35 balls.

He was skillfully supported by Mayank Rawwat, who finished the game with a blazing 32 not from just 11 balls, which took their side across the line in a chase with a high octane area.
