The neighborhood joint on 1101 S. Pearl St. in the West Wash Park district of Denver worked for 35 years. Dani Baer, owner of the bar, did not respond on Wednesday to the request of Businessden to comment.

There is a long history of bars on the location, which extends over the corner of Mississippi Avenue and Pearl Street just north of Interstate 25. For a long time, Denverites perhaps the corner pub, which worked there in the decades before the pub on Pearl.

The property is the property of Ken Fukayama, a pilot in Denver at various aviation companies, who bought it for $ 1.9 million in June 2019, according to public archives.

Fukayama, who did not respond to a request for comment, mentioned the building for sale a few months ago.

“A large part of the added value of our offer was that lease (for the Pearl),” said Blue West Capital Broker Josh Lorenzen, who is launching real estate in addition to Robert Edwards.
