Maple Leafs to move at least one more?
The Toronto Maple Leafs are not necessarily done to reform their selection. After exchanging Mitch Marner to the Golden Knights in a drawing-and-trade for Nicolas Roy and adding Mattias Maccelli and Dakota Joshua, the Leafs still explore options to strengthen their top-six forward group.
According to James Mirtle of the Athletic, Toronto shops the Handelsmarkt, where Brandon Carlo pops up like a potential possession to move. He writes:
“The front office is still looking for that upgrade beforehand. I do not expect Matias Maccelli, Roy and Dakota Joshua it is for forward adds, especially given that at least two of them should be in the lower six. When Mirtle speaks that Carlo dangles in a possible trade, it is under the context that the blue line of Toronto could also see changes. With a group consisting of Morgan Rielly, Chris Tanev, Carlo, Jake McCabe, Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Simon Benoit, the management reportedly wants to add a Puck-moving defender to improve the transition game. Carlo is not. Sharks is probably on site to send Carey Price?
