Jacksonville Jaguars @ New Orleans Saints

Tank Bigsby starts for the jaguars: Travis Etienne Jr. started in the first match of the preseason.
The Jaguars used a relatively simple decline rotation in their first game. Etienne took the first ride, Bigsby played the second and third, Bhayshul Tuten took the fourth ride to the eighth ride, and Lequint all played the ninth and 10th ride, and only four plays were exceptions when Drives ran long and the Jaguars wanted to give the current running a break. These kinds of rotations are common in the preseason and give us a glimpse into the current order of the depth card, but they do little to help us understand how running could rotate during the season.
This week the Achterveld seemed better to what it could look like in the regular season. On the first ride, Bigsby played on the first and second downs, while Etienne played in third place. This is logical, given the strengths of the two running. Etienne started on the second ride, played two snaps, followed by Bigsby’s two and another four for Etienne. This actually brought the two running a 50/50 split. Surprisingly, they were almost almost in routes, goals and wears. We can expect that in the regular season this will at least shift a little with Etienne that catches more and BigSby runs more, but we should not expect that these tendencies are as strong as last season, seeing how Liam Coen used his running backs in Tampa Bay last season.
Currently Etienne has a consensus ADP two rounds earlier than Bigsby, ranging from one round or less on ESPN and Yahoo! Up to four rounds on sleeper. These should be closer together, and if there is something, Bigsby must be the one who has been prepared earlier.
Before the second consecutive game, Tuten did not play with the starters. He missed for some time during the training camp, so it is understandable that he has not yet worked for the starters. He can mix more often as the season progresses and both Bigsby and Etienne’s fantasy value hurts. The only way in which one of these players is becoming a consistent fantasy starter this season is if one two is clearly surpassing the other.
Chris Olave And Rashha 5 Make their pre -season debut: Both broad recipients missed the second half of the 2024 season.
The first and most obvious collection meal is that it is good to see that both players are healthy. We expect that both players rarely leave the field this season and both played 100% of New Orleans snaps with the starters, so this game was also in line with expectations.
Brandin Cooks was one of the veterans who did not play in this game, so we don’t have a great picture of how the broad recipients will be played or used this season. The general expectation is that Cooks would join Olave and Shaheed in sets with three receivers, but that may not be the case, because none of the three recipients mainly play from the lock.
Last week Brandon Cooks and Mason Tipton were the primary recipients of the first ride, while Cedrick Wilson Jr. played in three recipient sets in the lock. In this game, Wilson also played in sets with three recipients and was more often the final receiver. Wilson had seven snaps from the lock in 11 employees on the first three discs, compared to Olave’s Three and Shaheed’s three. This suggests that Wilson could play a greater role in the violation in 11 employees, and chefs could be more a backup for Olave and Shaheed. It is also possible that we just see a rotation of Olave, Shaheed and Cooks play in the lock, while they all take between 30-40% of the snaps in 11 employees.
It is worth noting that Wilson’s best season was in 2021 with the Dallas Cowboys, where he caught 45 passes for 602 yards and six touchdowns as the primary final receiver of the cowboys, while Ceedee Lamb played more Snaps. Kellen Moore was the offensive coordinator of the cowboys that season.
The final role in New Orleans is especially remarkable because of the history of Moore. In the past three seasons, Moore’s primary final receiver has on average between 15.3 and 21.5 PPR points per match. His six primary external recipients in three recipient sets have largely been not delicate in fantasy, but the most important exception was AJ Brown last season. We will probably see that those tendencies are changing this season because Olave and Shaheed play considerably on the outside and their talents, but we could see Wilson that he received a few goals than originally expected, while Olave and Shaheed receive a little less.
Various notes
- Broad recipient and cornerback Travis Hunter have to do with a upper body injury And was announced prior to the competition. Dyami Brown was also excluded for an unknown reason.
- Last week Brian Thomas Jr. And Hunter with the starters snaps in the lock. In this game it was a split between Thomas and Austin Trammell, which further suggests that the Jaguars will not have a clear final recipient and instead will move their broad recipients more often than the attack by Liam Coen did last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- The only Jaguars skills player who did not play last week was a very ending Johnny Mundt, who missed most of the past three weeks because of a upper body injury. He and Hunter Long are mentioned in the same place on the depth card, but Mundt was the clear second tight end based on use with the starters in this game.
- The saints rested that Alvin Kamara and broad recipients Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed walked back last week. This week it was Kamara again, together with broad recipient Brandin Cooks and tight end Juwan Johnson.
- Kendre Miller played 14 snaps with the starters while Cam Akers played four, including three in third place. If Kamara were an injury, we would expect Miller to be the early back to take a distance, but Akers would also play Snaps in those passing situations.
- Saints tight ends Foster Moreau and Taysom Hill remain unable to perform list on the physically. Hill is expected to miss a considerable time this season.
- Saints Back -Up wide recipient BUB means landed on an injured reserve this week because of an ankle injury he sustained last week.
- Rookie that runs back Devin Neal is expected to miss a few weeks because of a hamstring injury.

Table notes
- Snaps include plays that are mentioned back because of penalties, including keeping offensive or defensive pass -interference. The other three statistics have removed these plays.
- Goals can differ from official NFL sources. The most likely discrepancy would come from a clear shot pass, whereby the NFL can give the target to the nearest recipient, while this data does not.
- Carries are only on designed plays. Quarterback Scrambles do not count for the total number of Carry’s in the game.
