Premier League team of the weekend:
GK: Robin Roefs – Sunderland
It is time to take the defense of Sunderland seriously. In their first six games since obtaining promotion, they have only admitted four goals, the Joint Derde least in the division.

However, if there was one player we had to choose, it is Marc Guehi. The Center-Back scored the opening goal against the team that he had to participate on the Deadline day before the deal was canceled, while also made seven approvals, one interception, two recovery and a great opportunity.

CB: Marcos Senesi – Bournemouth
Who needs Dean Huijsen and Illia Zabarnyi if you have Marcos Senesi? The middle behind was excellent against Leeds United, even if Bournemouth admitted twice.

The former Arsenal and Manchester United Forward has been directly involved in seven goals (5 goals, 2 assists) in eight Premier League matches against Chelsea for Brighton, more than against any other side in the competition for De Meeuwen.
CF: Erling Haaland – Man City
Burnley defended admirable to a large part of their meeting with City, but in the end there is no stopping of Erling Haaland when he is in the mood. The Norway International eventually found the net late and took a brace to bring its count to eight goals for the season.
Haaland finished well from the cross of Doku for the fourth of the city before he used a mix-up at the back of the fifth. He also helped Matheus Nunes for the second goal of the day of his party.
LF: Igor Thiago – Brentford
It has been a remarkable journey for Igor Thiago so far. From losing his father when he was only 13 and worked as a bricklayer to become a Premier League footballer and scoring the goals that Manchester United defeated.
The Brazilian striker shot in a thumping strike of a long ball to open the score before he doubled Brentford’s lead with a tap-in. He already has four goals in the competition, plus another in the League Cup this season. The ability of the bees to find target scores like this is incredible.
