Pregnant Michelle Ackerley was only taken to the hospital live a few moments after the lime of Morning.
The BBC star, who expects a baby girl with her husband Ben Ryan, returned to the show earlier this month after the summer holidays.
But Michelle, 41, has been mysteriously absent in recent days, last seen in the program on 8 September.
The TV presenter has now revealed that she was taken to the hospital and was admitted four days after a painful infection.
She explained that she was diagnosed with labyrinthititis, which is a kind of inner ear infection that can influence your balance.
Michelle shares a health update with her fans on Instagram and showed off with her growing bare bump after she was fired from the hospital.

“Had such a beautiful day back at work with the great BBC Morning Live team last Monday.
“Then he unfortunately ended up in the hospital with labyrinthitis for the next 4 days.
“I don’t know if anyone has had it before, but it’s not ideal.
“I have to stay in the midwives in St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester were great and kept me calm with all the fears to be sick while he is pregnant. Resting and now nesting at home.”
Michelle told fans that she decided to take pregnancy leave from Morning Live after the hospital dashboard.
She added: “I am back on BBC Morning Live in the new year with a new baby addition to add to the family.”
Her message led fans to say how much they will miss her while she is gone.
A fan said: “AWW is so sorry to hear that it is such a shame not to have seen you in your last show for maternity leave. Rustu and Nesting and keep the endo -rayer you are.”
A second wrote: “Sending a lot of love for you! So happy to see you at home after your stay in the hospital. Big hugs xx”
In May Michelle announced that she was pregnant with her first child.
She confirmed the exciting news live on the air on the BBC One show.
Appear next to her fellow host Gethin JonesMichelle delighted the guests of the day with the confirmation she expects.
Speaking in the show, Gethin teased that Michelle had something new to which she answered: “Yes, I am four months pregnant!”
She continued: “I still can’t completely believe it myself.”
Gethin further shared how Michelle had told him that he was a very calming presence during pregnancy.
Michelle then said: “He is so cooled.
“The thing is, I am not really sleeping well right now, so I woke up in the middle of the night at 3 o’clock and I took it on myself to wake up and say that this is what we have to get used to!”
Fertility fear
Michelle continued discussing her pregnancy in a long Instagram post in which she also approached her fertility problems.
The TV presenter said: “I can’t believe it has been almost a year ago since get married and I really didn’t think 12 months didn’t that I would write a message that I am pregnant …
“However, I wanted to share because my journey with endometriosis and infertility is something that I finally felt confident to talk more open last year – realizing how many other women experienced similar experiences.
“Feeling a part of a community – especially when it comes to women’s health, can really make a difference.
“Even at the beginning of this year, I was preparing for another endo procedure and tried to come to terms with the mental and physical impact they can have.
“It was quite the emotional roller coaster.
“The news of getting pregnant really came as a huge surprise for both of us. We still can’t quite believe it.
“And so in October the start of a new chapter for @Benryan7s and I, albeit with nervous and careful excitement.”
