Ruben Amorim has said that tonight he will rotate his Manchester United team while they travel to Cleethorpes to be in the second round of the League Cup to Grimsby Town.
For much of Amorim’s team, it is a chance to get under their belt for a few minutes and to show the head coach that they earn a place in the starting XI when the Premier League resumes on Saturday.
Defense
Andre Onana is very likely to be recalled in goal after missing the first two games due to a lack of matchfitness. If he does not play for some reason, the existing rumors that he would leave the club will spread like an ongoing fire fire.
Harry Maguire and Ayden Heaven need minutes and will probably start in defense. But in the absence of Noussair Mazraoui there is no clear candidate to replace Leny Yoro. So the Frenchman was able to hold his place in the side while Matthijs de Ligt and Luke Shaw take a breathing break.
Lisandro Martinez is also still injured.
Wing -Rids and midfield
Amad and Patrick Dorgu can be equipped for these, with Diogo Dalot and Diego Leon the chance to get some kilometers on the clock.
Central Midfield can also be changed, with Manu Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo in for Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes. As in the case of Onana, when Mainoo does not start, the transfer rumors will reach a fever.
Ahead
Bryan Mbeumo didn’t have much of a preseason, so we expect him to be happy with the extra 90 -minute action on the right of the attack. Matheus Cunha, on the other hand, can be played with Josh Zirkzee who needs a run-out after an injury of injury.
Benjamin Sesko also needs minutes, so it seems the perfect opportunity for him to start his first game in a red shirt.
Mason Mount and Chido Obi are other options.
