Feld am See, Austria
Signs are placed here.
Today I had a bye (and the next game Heike, which I just played on Saturday), but Vicki and I practiced about an hour early in the morning. (She had a competition today and won 60 60).
After I got and talked with Vicki, I cycled back to my hotel, did a number of usual exercises, etc. And then drove back to the courts for lunch. The lunch was interesting. It was a buffet, one of the different salads … lettuce and other vegetables, pickled cabbage, beets, etc., soup and lots of desserts, in particular Kaiserschmarm, sort of a cross between bread pudding and pancakes … it is made of fluffy pancakes with forks … Apple served with fruitcompote served … Apple served with Fruitcompote served … Apple served … Apple served … Apple served … Apple served … Apple served … Apple served … Apple served … Apple served … Apple served … Apple served … Apple served … Apple … Apple … Apple served … Apple … Apple … Apple served … Apple … Apple … Apple … Apple … Apple … Apple. Apple … Apple … Apple … Apple … Apple … Apple … Apple … Apple … Apple … Apple … Apple or Pluims. The pancakes can also have fruit. Apparently it is a common lunch or dessert. I had salad and soup … but the pancakes looked pretty good!
I then went to the next city for some berries and drinks … and pure chocolate. I found it and then decided to continue on the road to the Millstatter, the second largest lake (and the largest due to water volume, because it is quite deep). There is a cycle path along the lake, but I just parked (and had to find out how to pay using a QR code … The difficult part was the app when translated to English said they do not place in spaces between the letters … but in reality one has to place in the spaces to have the app work). Eventually I found out and was in my cheerful way. First I went to the “Strandbad Millstatt”, which is in fact water access with platforms or jumps in the water or sunbathing. It was very quiet and I could come in without having to pay. The lake is surrounded by steep mountains, a bit like a fjord, and so is pretty beautiful, long and narrow.
I walked further through the lake until the end of the city of Millstatt am See. There are a number of Zeafron hotels with beautiful gardens and beach access that looked like great places for a relaxing holiday, and there were tons of motorcyclists on the path.

Tomorrow I will assume that I will play my first game and the Doubles Draws will probably be posted tonight or tomorrow morning. Times for singles tomorrow, the evening will be posted before matches at 8 p.m., and double times will be placed at 9 o’clock on the day of the game.
