Martin Pospisil signed a three -year contract of $ 7.5 million with the Calgary Flames on Wednesday. It has an average annual value of $ 2.5 million and starts next season.

Pospisil could have become a limited free agent after this season.

“I am happy that the contract is ready. I can’t wait until the season starts.”
