Just a few weeks into the new year we are greeted by some exciting Swedish fashion news! Yes, 2025 was an eventful year on the Swedish fashion scene with many exciting design collaborations and several new store openings in our biggest cities. And the new year seems to continue in the same spirit.
Barely a year after Bershka opened the doors of its very first store in Sweden – in Scandinavia’s Westfield Mall, in April 2025 – now comes the news that the popular Spanish sister store of Zara and Massimo Dutti will soon open a second Swedish store.
This store will also be located in our Swedish capital, but this time at a more central address. Bershka now occupies the Gallerian at Hamngatan in Stockholm.

The brand new Bershka store will be approximately 800 square meters in size, spread over two levels, and will offer fashion and accessories for women, men and young people. The store is described as a meeting place for young people interested in fashion and will offer an experience that, according to the press release, combines fashion, music and innovation. The store will open in March 2026.
– We are very happy to welcome Bershka to the Gallerian this spring. The brand fits perfectly with our largest visitor group and we are convinced that the store will be a success. The concept sketches we have seen are something special and guaranteed to attract attention, says Cecilia Åkesson, center manager of the Gallerian.
What is Bershka?
Bershka is a Spanish clothing chain founded in 1998 and part of the Inditex group, which also owns brands such as Zara, Massimo Dutti, Pull&Bear and Stradivarius. Bershka offers fashion, including shoes and accessories for women and men.
