Time just flies away and it’s Friday again! I don’t even know where the days have taken the way, but it has been quite a lot of daily life and work of our part … interspersed with Sardinia’s beautiful nature of course!
Different experiences in Sardinia
We think Sardinia offers opportunities for different experiences. We rented a boat, went on a guided bootxcursie, made a walk in a ravine, visited a historic attraction and walk in a pleasant city (reporting on Saturday!). Sunbathing and bathing we do almost every day- even when we have work and repair days, there is usually room to take a dip. And yes, beautiful beaches are a bit everywhere here in Sardinia!
Fricamping – and a slightly more relaxed attitude towards camping
More recently, it has become quite a bit of free camping for our side, which is good for the wallet. The last time we took a campsite was in Portixeddu, on the west coast, when we had to wash clothes and bedding.
One thing we think about here (and really throughout South Europe!) Is that it feels like you have a more relaxed attitude towards camping life. You see many older campers and the vast majority, most of them camp with tents or a kind of mini-camping car or perhaps a passenger car with roof tents.

It may be a bit easier to camp when it is almost always hot, but it also feels like you have a little less status that thinks about the equipment compared to Sweden.
It is simply about getting into nature, somehow. We see many hammocks, but we have not seen any camper with hydraulic support legs (a solution to leave the camper with a simple push of a button, for approximately SEK 70,000), which is quite common in Sweden.

For us too, it is “luxurious” about experiencing the fine nature in Sardinia. Moreover, we are often luxurious with good food – at home in the camper!

Daily life …
Some days consist entirely of daily life. At the campsite Sunrise of the sea In Portixeddu we washed and cleaned for two days.

At the same time we had some time to cook clothes. Because yes, of course we have a small Syetui with us with needle and thread and other things you might need!

… and jobs
Of course we also work, and sometimes it feels a bit “stretched out”. Writing is the best – and it may not even be eligible as a job, it is more a hobby! However, what is absolutely work – it is work with advertisements, statistics reports on customers, e -mail correspondence with potential customers, compilation of sponsored articles, video stores with partners, planning in our new role as tourist ambassadors for Uzbekistan, accounting, accounting and similar.
We are now also planning, together with our partner Your brand tripsTo be able to sew a group trip through our travel agency Freedom Xplane For the next spring. It naturally requires a lot of work, and that is why the focus is on the group trip instead of sewing new packages together.

But of course there are still many experience packages to look in, both for those who travel by camper and for those who want to stay in a hotel or in the hut:
This week: grateful for …
This week we are grateful for the opportunity to freeze in Sardinia, which means that we can maintain our daily costs. This, combined with the fact that we have income from our digital job, means that we get the chance to keep traveling, for which we are extremely grateful!
Your turn … what are you very grateful for this week?

The next week
We stay in Sardinia, while it is slowly approaching a ferry trip to the Italian mainland. The rest of the time in Sardinia will be Fricamping, swimming and visits to the capital Cagliari. Here at Freedomtravel you can expect reports about a super picturesque small town and how we have arranged everything in the camper during this long journey!
Now we want a nice Friday and a nice weekend!
