Pilates guru and Buildcorp director sells Double Bay home – realestate.com.au

Pilates guru Bernadette Sukkar and her business husband, Jordan Sukkar, have sold their luxury Double Bay home.

The sold sticker is placed on the luxurious Double Bay home of pilates guru Bernadette Sukkar and businessman Jordan Sukkar.

The three-storey home at 64 Manning Rd was listed with Raine and Horne Double Bay agent Alex Lyons with a price list of $5 million-$5.5 million.

Lyons could not be reached last night to discuss the sale, so it is unclear whether the outcome was within guidelines.

The Sukkars, who married last November in a star-studded ceremony with guests including Jasmine and Karl Stefanovic and Merivale owner Justin Hemmes and his partner Madeline Holtznagel, plan to expand the Manning Rd residence, which was purchased in 2021 for $5 million.

Jordan Sukkar is the Chief Operating Officer of Buildcorp, while Bernadette Sukkar, née Fahey, owns Bondi’s popular Body by Berner pilates studio.

They purchased the three-story home in 2021 for $5 million.

They hadn’t done much to the property, apart from obtaining development approval for a remarkable million-dollar transformation into a designer dream home with double-height ceilings.

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom residence with double garage has a formal living room and dining room leading to open-plan living areas.

When put on the market in early spring, Lyons said, “The house is perfectly livable as it stands, but they planned to open it up a bit to create more space,” Lyons said.

“I think if the buyer goes ahead with these plans, the house, once completed, will be in the double digits, over $10 million.

“That part of Double Bay has a lot of potential.

The flat lawn is perfect for a young family.

“Once Double Bay is done, in terms of office buildings and restaurants, that area will see a lot of capital growth.”

Jordan comes from one of Sydney’s wealthiest families: his parents, Josephine and Tony, founded the $500 million construction company in 1990.

Lyons says, “They had the big wedding, they love it there, but they’re looking for a little more space as they grow the family.”
