The Professional Fighters League launched PFL Africa earlier this year and the competition will now see the finalists fight their way to the end of the tournaments in four weight divisions this Saturday.
PFL Africa: Rwanda sees semi-finals at bantamweight, featherweight, welterweight and heavyweight. While the fights on the Rwanda card are not quite the planned fights, one fight was relegated after Friday’s weigh-ins. That was Patrick Ocheme versus Abdoul Razac Sankara, with both fighters losing weight, Ocheme by over ten pounds!
Heavyweight semifinalist Abraham Bably will be familiar to some fight fans, as he appeared under both the Bellator MMA and PFL banners.
