The Phoenix Suns have spent the low season with the reforming of their schedule, although it has come into the picture as training camps, unfortunately it is what happens outside the field that the franchise has in the news. But Okongwu is only a year older than Williams and has proven to be much more sustainable. He has on average more than 10 points in his last two seasons and has been steadily improved in the competition in his five years. If there is something, he is one of the better scenarios for what Maluach could get, he went to the NBA at 8 pm and could be the perfect mentor for him.

The best of all, Okongwu started with 76-of-307 career games that are played in Atlanta, so it would not have a problem to get from the bank if Maluach here becomes the long-term answer. Yes, he would be the third center and come in to replace Richards, but is it not the whole point to rebuild to gather as much talent as possible and to find the fit later?
From the perspective of the Hawks, they landed Kristaps Porzingis this summer and also have a promising second -year student in Zaccharie Risacher. All the talk about the Hawks is how they are ready to take their chance in a weaker Eastern Conference, and Okongwu does not seem to be part of that plan.
Richards is a big one that they can skip the road for a second round pick or two, but O’Neale and that 2027 would first be the real prize here. The 32-year-old Sharpshooter is exactly what a play-off hopeful spread the floor, while even a scoop with protection is a nice insurance policy. The suns were perhaps too enthusiastic to repair their situation by acting for Williams, because Okongwu makes sense.
