Trent -missiles shaking in the chase
The Trent Rockets haunt 169 and had a rocky start. Openers Tom Banton (23) and Joe Root (10) did not offer a solid platform, so that their team was put under pressure early.
The middle order continued with David Wiley (14) and Rehan Ahmed (0) who had no impact. However, Marcus Stoinis stepped up again, this time with the bat, scored a sizzling 64 runs of 38 balls to keep the hope alive.
Despite his heroic deeds, the rockets never really recovered from the early setbacks. They finally folded 142 runs and fell 21 runs short of the target.
The bowling attack of the Invincibles made their plans perfectly. Nathan Sowter Was the striking artist and claimed three wickets to dismantle the middle order of the rockets. He was skillfully supported by Saqib Mahmood, Tom Curran and Adam Zampa, who each picked up one wicket.
Their combined effort ensured that the rockets could never get a momentum, despite the resistance of Stoinis, which made a comfortable victory in the Summit collision.
