Another day, another game, another series, another chance to reset and another disaster, because the Dodgers could no longer score Freddie Freeman Homer and Tanner Scott took another L when he gave up a walk-off in a 2-1 loss for the Orioles.
=======
Because of Tyler GlasNow are unable to take the ball, Shohei Ohtani Tonight I made a hell of emergency starter. While his pitch count was blown up by deep counts, he got a clean 1st and gave only a two-out some and wild throw in the 2nd.
The 3rd was a bit more dramatic, because he gave up a two-out walking and infield single, but he managed to wobble it out and gave a peak through curses.

He also tagged poor Coby May In the nuts.

The 4th … well, it looked bad. A double of the bag started a rally for the Orioles, and it was taken to third place then Dalton Hurry Couldn’t make a rather routine block yet. From there, Ohtani seemed to empty the tank to get back-to-back strikeouts to put the Dodgers on the edge of escape.
Well, seeing Ohtani emptying the tank to try to work around a double that hit the bag and another “wild pitch” of hurrying for back-to-back strikeouts was at least refreshing. Too late in the season for moral victories, but someone digs deeply.

Certainly a better emergency start than someone else could have offered: 3.2 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 K, 70 CLASS.
As referred, Dave Roberts Surprising came to get Ohtani, and Anthony Banda entered. Things didn’t look great when he gave a walk to the corner of the corner and then stayed 3-0 to the next batter before he moaned back to escape from the jam.
Banda stayed in for the 5th, got one out, but then gave a walk to end his night. Ben Casparis Feeded, got the second and then gave a walk to set up a few. In perhaps the most frustrating way to give up the first run of the game, while a double stem was going on, hurling a ball again could block and both runners eventually got two bases to make it 1-0 orioles before Casparis could get the final.

Sigh.

You will not shock this, but on the other hand there was not much going on for the Dodger attack. The first eight batters went earlier in order Miguel Rojas reached on a hard -hit grounder that went for an error. Shohei Ohtani followed with a walk and they had a bit of a rally, but they couldn’t push anything.
The 4th started with the Dodgers who break the No-Hitter on a Freddie Freeman Rocket in third place for a single.

A one-out walk from Michael Comfort was followed by a two-out walk from the pinch hitting Enrique Hernandez To load the bases … which led to the terrible day of Rushing, continued with a strikeout.
The 5th went quietly after a Rojas single was quickly deleted by an Ohtani doubles, but now on the back, Freddie Freeman started the 6th by turning out the first throw for 19th Homer to bind things on 1-1.

With two out, Andy -Pages Enrique Hernandez received back-to-back singles, but the terrible day of Rushing continued, polluting a ball from his leg and had to be taken away.

Alex Call Pinch hit for him and strikeouts to put an end to that threat … yes.
In the 7th, A Mookie Betts Two-out double and wild pitch led to half a chance, but not surprising that it went for nothing. And they went quietly in both the 8th and the 9th.
Ugly.

Back to the Dodgers -pen, Jack Dreyer took over in the 6th and only gave up a two-out walk in his scoreless framework. Blake trains Take it over in the 7th and gave up a lead-off single, but he took the pinch runner and then got the next two to face the minimum. Next, it was Michael Kopech With a promising clean 8th in which he could throw many strikes.
To start the 9th, Tanner Scott looked pretty sharp with a few strikeouts, but then he hit a 1-2 fastball Samuel Basallo For a walk-off.

What do you even say.

I don’t know, man.
Must be honest, I don’t really care if the padres win or lose, they have to play better is the thing.

I don’t really think that a silver lining, but nice to see.
A positive has been since that JDM Road Trip visit/ovation/whatever, Mookie has actually been himself. Such as a 6 war pace in the past month.
