World ParaVolley is proud to announce that applications are officially open for the 2026 Mentor Program – the final and most prestigious step in the coach training journey.
This year-long initiative gives aspiring sitting volleyball coaches the unique opportunity to work one-on-one with world-renowned mentors, receiving targeted support in areas of their choice from the WPV Elite Coaching Standards while contributing to the sport’s global growth.
The program includes:
- A twelve-month structure divided into four phases: initiation, development, practical implementation and certification.
- Exclusive mentor-led webinars and one-on-one focused sessions.
- Possibilities for real-time feedback during training and competitions (virtual or in-person).
- The WPV Gold Coaching Certificate of Achievement upon successful completion.
Who can apply for 2026?
- Coaches aged 21 or older.
- Those with at least five years of experience coaching the national team.
- Holders of the WPV Level 2 Coaching Sitting Volleyball qualification, OR
- Coaches have confirmed they will be following the Kigali or Ljubljana Level 2 course schedule for later this year
Up to 12 coaches will be selected worldwide from those who sign up for 2026, and each will then be paired with one of the confirmed mentors for this inaugural program.
Costs: €300 WPV registration costs
